Joe Biden is a president that has attracted much controversy in less than 100 days of his term.
The Biden presidency began with him bringing about the demise of at least 11,000 union jobs and rolling back a series of policies from the Trump administration. This has resulted in a crisis at the Southern border, one that even Democrats are beginning to call out the Biden administration on.
On top of the aforementioned situations, Biden hasn’t even held a single press conference since becoming president. Moreover, Kamala Harris, the current vice president, has been calling world leaders, a job that is typically reserved for the commander-in-chief, rather than his VP.
According to a recent poll, half of likely American voters believe that the 46th president is simply not fit to lead the country, Newsmax reports.
What America Really Thinks About President Biden
Per Rasmussen Reports, 50% of likely U.S. voters view the 46th president as lacking fitness for office. Further details confirm that this perception is largely fueled by Biden being in the Oval Office for over six weeks and yet failing to hold a single press conference. It’s not a good look and Americans are able to see that.

Moreover, the 78-year-old president has a habit of fumbling and stammering while speaking. Some Biden supporters have attributed this to the president growing up with a stutter; however, in footage of Biden publicly speaking during his younger years, he did not fumble the way he does today.
The president has lost his train of thought while speaking and even openly stated “what am I doing here” while addressing the public. On another occasion, Vice President Harris had to remind Biden not to leave his face mask at a podium after finishing a speech.
When Will Biden Speak to the Country?
Tomorrow, the 46th president is set to address Americans in a primetime TV speech. Biden’s remarks will center around COVID-19, steps to defeat the virus, and national progress made over the past year.

The Democrat president will also talk about the vaccination distribution plan, the recent passing of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, and more. How the primetime address goes will undoubtedly be talked about, especially amid concerns about Biden’s mental and cognitive faculties.
