(WatchDogNews.org) – Earlier this week, we told you about evidence indicating former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates lied to Congress about when she learned Michael Flynn was being investigated. Now, it looks like another of former President Barack Obama’s officials did the very same thing. This time it’s former Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Samantha Power under the microscope.
On October 13, 2017, Power appeared before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) asked her about the unmasking requests related to Flynn. Specifically, he noted the “number of unmasking requests by yourself.”
The transcript seems to indicate Schiff then asked the former UN ambassador if she ever requested to unmask the retired general. Power said she didn’t “recall making such a request.” 
The problem with Power’s answer is that we now know she made seven requests to unmask Flynn according to the list declassified by the National Security Agency (NSA).
Samantha Power testified under oath to the Senate saying she “had no recollection” of unmasking General Flynn.
We’ve now learned she made 7 requests on Flynn.

Why all the secrecy? If Power and Yates didn’t do anything wrong, why did they lie when they were asked about it? More importantly, will the DOJ charge them with lying to Congress?
