Former National Security Advisor John Bolton praised the Trump Administration on Friday for airstrikes that killed top Iranian general, Qassem Soleimani.
Congratulations to all involved in eliminating Qassem Soleimani. Long in the making, this was a decisive blow against Iran's malign Quds Force activities worldwide. Hope this is the first step to regime change in Tehran.

Although the administration’s relationship with Bolton has been strained, to put it mildly, over the last several months, he knows a good decision when he sees one. Too bad the same can’t be said of the Democratic lawmakers who have been whining incessantly about Trump’s decision. He’s being attacked over his choices that will protect more Americans in the long run.
The US State Department has said that Soleimani was responsible for the deaths of 608 American troops killed by Iranian troops and Iranian-backed fighters. Designated as a terrorist by the US in 2005, the dead Iranian general was to blame for 17% of the troops killed during the Iraq War.
President Trump authorized the airstrike that killed Soleimani at Baghdad’s international airport. The strike came after Iranian-backed protestors attacked an American embassy and when Iran’s proxies killed an American contractor last week. Trump promised he’d take “swift, decisive” actions to protect our citizens from Iranian aggression — something Bolton has long sought — and the president came through.
Iran is no longer dealing with a weak leader who is all talk like Obama. They better take notice and behave accordingly.
