(WatchDogNews.org) – To nobody’s surprise, there’s been a lot of whining from the Left about the way President Donald Trump is handling the COVID-19 outbreak. The fact that he updates the country on his administration’s progress every single day seems to have escaped them. Well, some of them. California’s Governor Gavin Newsom is not one of those Liberals.
The governors of some blue states are unhappy with Trump. During a March 26 interview with Fox News, the president said Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is blaming the federal government for the virus. Washington Governor Jay Inslee and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo have also complained about the commander-in-chief’s handling of the crisis.
However, Newsom, the leader of the bluest state in the union, said the president is doing a good job. He told CNN saying anything else would make him a liar.

The governor’s comments about Trump destroy the media narrative driven by other Liberal governors in a handful of states saying the president’s not doing enough.
According to Johns Hopkins’ coronavirus data, Newsom’s state has more than 10,000 confirmed cases as of April 2, and is a hot spot for the virus. This is why Trump is working tirelessly to get help to Americans suffering during this crisis.
He has sent medical supplies to states, signed three aid packages, and eased medical restrictions. Two Navy hospital ships are deployed in California and New York. To claim the federal government isn’t responding is a lie and Newsom knows that.
It’d be nice if the other Left-wing governors acknowledged it, too, instead of wasting time bashing President Trump. Guess old habits die hard.
