There’s a lot happening in Georgia politics these days. The Peach State currently has two ongoing senatorial runoffs that will determine the fate of the Senate and America for years to come. The continued GOP majority remains contingent upon GOP Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue fending off challenges from Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
The 2020 presidential election also remains very much alive in Georgia politics. The state’s GOP governor and conservative secretary of state remain at odds with Georgia Republicans who have concerns about fraud. Georgia conservatives continue to maintain that neither their governor nor secretary of state is acting accordingly to root out or right the wrongs of voter fraud.
This morning, Georgia’s lieutenant governor engendered even more controversy when he took direct aim at President Trump, confirms Breitbart News.
Georgia’s Lt. Governor vs. President Trump on the 2020 Election
This morning, Geoff Duncan, the Georgia GOP lieutenant governor, spoke with CNN about President Trump’s rally in Valdosta last night and how it will impact the state’s politics.
Duncan opined that Trump delivered a “two-part message” on Saturday night. Per the Georgia lieutenant governor, this “two-part message” entailed calls for Georgians to vote for Sens. Perdue and Loeffler in addition to delivering so-called “mountains of misinformation” about the Georgia election.

The second part of Duncan’s remarks only further shows the divide between Georgia conservatives and the state’s election officials. The state lieutenant governor’s comments arrived as Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger spoke with ABC News this morning and denied claims of voter fraud; Raffensperger also alleged that his office has yet to find evidence that will deliver a Trump win in Georgia.
Before Georgia Lieutenant Governor Duncan wrapped up with CNN, he declared that Trump’s remarks about election fraud are “hurting” the re-election chances of Perdue and Loeffler. Duncan did not, however, speak about recent footage showing Georgia ballots being taken out of suitcases in secret.
Gearing Up for the Runoffs
Right now, Democrats are salivating as Georgia Republicans fight with one another and publically discuss a conservative boycott of the runoffs. In fact, this miscalculated and counterproductive boycott is a dream come true for Georgia Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock who seek to open prisons, increase taxes, and shut down the economy.

Last night in Valdosta, President Trump declared that the best way for Georgians to push back against voter fraud is to vote for Perdue and Loeffler in record numbers.
