Good News to Celebrate This Thanksgiving

Another Thanksgiving is here. The time has come for Americans to gather around the table for Thanksgiving turkey, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the togetherness and warmth of this holiday season.

There’s no denying America is facing some challenges this holiday season. Inflation is one major outlier. For instance, a Thanksgiving meal is more expensive than it’s been in previous years.

As many Americans also traveled across the United States to be with their loved ones, they were forced to pay more for gas, as prices for energy are on the rise.

However, despite the challenges the United States faces, there is very good news for us all to celebrate this Thanksgiving Day.

Time Spent with Loved Ones is on the Rise

Despite all the craziness that has happened in the world this year, the time we are able to spend with our loved ones is definitely something to be thankful for. Human connection matters, as does being with family members and loved ones.

A recent poll came out days ago, showing nearly seven in ten Americans are comfortable gathering with people who do not live in their immediate residences. This number is much higher than it was in 2020.

Time spent with loved ones is something Americans need, especially in trying times such as the ones we’re living in. Being with family and friends boosts morale and encourages good cheer that makes a positive difference in this country.

More information to come out this Thanksgiving also showed growing numbers of people traveled this year. Unlike in 2020 when travels significantly stagnated during the holiday season, almost a historic number of Americans got on planes or in cars to be with loved ones today.

America is Fighting Back Against Tyranny

There’s no doubt America has come face to face with tyranny this year. The Biden administration wants workers sacked from their jobs if they don’t take the COVID vaccine.

As a matter of fact, the White House even tried to use the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to force this injection on people. Business groups, religious associations, and Republican governors said no deal.

Amid a massive lawsuit from multiple states, the Federal Appeals Court essentially nullified Biden’s mandate, putting a stay on it until the court takes further action. To this day, the injunction remains in place; the Biden administration is absolutely furious over it.

Florida also took unique steps in fighting back against the federal government’s tyranny. The Sunshine State passed laws barring COVID vaccine mandates; since this, several businesses in the state of Florida rescinded their mandates for workers.

It is very good news to see the country standing up and fighting back against oppression. This is something to celebrate and to take into 2022 and beyond.
