Republicans are calling on President Biden and the White House to get the border crisis under control. At this point, it’s become a humanitarian problem and the Biden administration doesn’t seem to have a concrete plan. Earlier this week, Biden stated that Vice President Kamala Harris is now in charge of fixing the Southern border crisis.

In light of how grave, serious, and even deadly the Southern border situation has become, Republicans are demanding the Biden administration re-enact Trump’s immigration reforms, Newsmax confirms.

Republicans on the Biden Border Crisis

Senate Republicans who visited the Southern border this week are very serious and concise about what needs to happen. Iowa GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley has stated that it’s not realistic for congressional Democrats to expect to pass immigration legislation while the Southern border is in crisis.

GOP senators furthermore maintain that young kids and even toddlers are packed in close quarters with one another. Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz has come out and stated that the Biden administration is knowingly hiding the situation at the Southern border.

Cruz, along with many other Republican lawmakers, also confirmed that President Biden is intentionally keeping cameras out of these facilities. The White House has consistently failed to give a precise reason for why they won’t allow press into the facilities at the Southern border.

How Biden Created the Border Crisis

Republicans are holding President Biden accountable. The Democrat president engendered the border crisis by not only reversing immgration policies from the Trump administration, but also by his own rhetoric on immigration.

When Biden gave a press conference earlier this week, he made light of this by saying that he’s a “nice guy” and that’s why migrants are coming across the Southern border.

The White House is going to have to get real and fix this crisis that they created. Republicans, for right now, are shining light on the border crisis and urging the necessary action to fix this problem.
