Democrats’ For the People Act is some of the most radical legislation the party has ever attempted to pass through Congress. The passing of H.R. 1 would completely upend U.S. elections, permit illegal ballot harvesting, prohibit photo ID requirements, and much more.

Republicans are warning that H.R. 1 is nothing more than a power grab. Due to Democrats having the House majority, the For the People Act has already passed the lower chamber; however, H.R. 1 will not pass the Senate, due to the current existence of the filibuster.

The GOP is not backing down from the fight to protect secure elections and block this partisan, attempted power grab from the Democrats. This is why the Republican National Committee will be spending millions on an ad blitz to warn voters across America about H.R. 1’s danger, reports Newsmax

The Upcoming GOP Ad Blitz Against H.R. 1

Later this month, the Republican Party will run a six-figure ad blitz campaign alerting Americans about the dangers of the For the People Act.

Ads will run on Google, Facebook, and across different news sites at the local and state levels. Republicans are additionally going to ensure that voters in New Hampshire, Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia are alerted about H.R. 1’s threat to secure, honest elections.

In the aforementioned ads, Republicans will warn Americans about the ways in which H.R. 1 will force U.S. tax dollars to fund Democrats’ campaigns. The repeal of voter ID requirements, federal control in state elections, etc., are additional matters that the GOP ad blitz will bring to the attention of Americans.

A Federal Power Grab Over State Elections

Republicans across the nation are working to ensure that future elections are secure, fair, and free of fraud. Democrats, currently, are referring to Georgia’s S.B. 202 and any other means of upholding election integrity as racist voter suppression.

When Georgia passed an election integrity bill in March, Democrats immediately stated that this proved the need to pass H.R. 1 in Congress. Already, such claims prove that the For the People Act is about giving the federal government power in state elections. It’s not truly “for the people,” but for Democrat politicians and bureaucrats.
