As Republicans have always warned, spending money and running up the U.S. deficit has consequences. This is something that President Biden and other leftists don’t seem to understand; as a matter of fact, Democrats are content to spend as if tomorrow will never come, consequences be damned.
The consequences are officially coming home to roost; this is bad news for a lot of people. In virtually every arena, living costs have gone up; groceries, rent, gas prices, and even other expenses are higher and higher. The plight of inflation maintains, despite Democrats’ decisions to pretend otherwise.
As more Americans pay higher fees at the gas pumps, conservatives are holding Democrats’ feet to the fire as it pertains to higher prices, Breitbart News confirms.
How Democrats Made Gas More Expensive
As of this week, the average gas cost comes out to $3.141 for just one gallon. This particular rate marks a 40% increase in price since the year first began. That’s not the worst of it, though; per the American Automobile Association (AAA), the prices of gas could surge even more by the end of next month.

Conservatives from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and others are criticizing the Democrats’ spending. Inflation is on the rise because President Biden has already spent trillions of dollars; he also plans to spend trillions more, a measure that will only ensure that the prices of gas and everything else increases.
During Independence Day weekend (a time that Democrats used to trash America and U.S. patriotism), the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) put out several different ads, reminding Americans of the role Democrats have played in higher prices nationwide.

The increase in gas costs is already something political analysts warn could hurt Democrats, come next year’s midterm elections.
Restoring Fiscal Responsibility in America
Bringing back fiscal responsibility has never been more imperative. Despite the misguided policies of the Biden administration, spending as if there’s no tomorrow is not sustainable.
If Biden continues spending at this current rate, prices will keep going up. The spending power of the dollar will also become less and less valuable. Right now, the best means of preventing this is getting Republicans back into office. This means winning the 2022 midterms and then winning the 2024 presidential election.

It is more than apparent that Democrats are not going to seriously embrace fiscal responsibility at this point. Therefore, it is up to Republicans to clean up the mess (once again) created by the left.
