Impeachment 2.0?

(WatchDogNews.org) – Earlier this year, right before the US was rocked by the COVID-19 pandemic, President Donald Trump beat the impeachment charges levied against him. The Senate found him not guilty and Democrats were angry. They thought they were finally going to get rid of the duly-elected president, but they failed. It looks like Dems might be trying it again.

On April 29, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) appointed a gaggle of impeachment Dems to oversee the president’s coronavirus response. Republican lawmakers, like Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), are calling her move “impeachment 2.0.”

This isn’t a committee dedicated to oversight. It’s a committee dedicated to attacking a duly elected president at the taxpayers expense.

Ask yourself why the Democratic Party even needs to investigate the COVID-19 pandemic. What does it solve? Trump is the first executive to deal with a global outbreak in more than 100 years. He’s doing the best he can to keep people safe.

The election is in the fall. If the Left wants to get rid of the president, maybe they should try to do it the right way instead of trying to suppress the will of the American people.
