(WatchDogNews.org) – Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and others are eyeing a fourth stimulus package to help the economy during the COVID-19 crisis. Not everyone is interested in the California Democrat’s ideas, though. In fact, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) thinks she’s trying to “jam” lawmakers up.
The Senate leader spoke to the Washington Post about the possibility of a fourth stimulus bill. In the interview published April 1, McConnell said Pelosi needs to “stand down” because he won’t “take advantage of the crisis” to pass bills that have nothing to do with addressing the impact of COVID-19. He’s particularly annoyed that the speaker is trying to cut taxes for rich Liberals at the same time the rest of America is suffering.
House Democrats are still trying to use this crisis to push unrelated pet priorities.
Last week: Carbon regulations.
Now? A tax giveaway for wealthy people in blue states, panned by economists across the spectrum.
This is a crisis. Let's act like it. https://t.co/okeS98rSkc

It’s possible that Americans may need another stimulus package down the road. But, this isn’t time for Democrats to try to push nonsense through Congress that’s not related to the actual crisis. The people of this country are sick of Democrats taking advantage of our political systems.
Hopefully, McConnell’s condemnation of Pelosi will keep her in her lane.
