Migrants Transported to Vice President’s Home

Illegal immigration continues to be a very real problem in the United States. Joe Biden ultimately set this into motion nearly two years ago when he removed the immigration reforms the Trump administration put into effect.

In removing these reforms, Biden failed to replace them with decent policies of his own. Therefore, since the Biden administration’s been running the White House, the rates of illegal immigration have significantly increased.

Some folks will try to argue otherwise, but data from DHS is living proof, as are the issues that states like Texas and Arizona have been facing.

The Biden administration only truly started to acknowledge border problems once officials in border states began shipping migrants to left-wing communities.

On Christmas Eve, however, migrants received free transportation to the home of Vice President Kamala Harris, per the New York Post.

A Closer Look at the Story

Almost two years ago now, the vice president was set as the point person to handle illegal immigration at the southern border. Needless to say, Harris has not done anything about the border crossings or the incentives driving people to come to the southern border in the first place.

On Saturday, however, Harris’ Naval Observatory home is where buses of migrants were dropped off. Reportedly, the departure point for the buses that transported migrants to Washington DC turned out to be Texas.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been clear that his state cannot handle the number of migrants coming across the border on an ongoing basis. The Lone Star State simply doesn’t have the resources or the bandwidth.

Therefore, Abbott and other Republican governors have determined that sanctuary city leaders and defenders of illegal immigration should help with looking after migrants who enter the United States.

Little Cooperation From the Left

Democrats have claimed it’s reprehensible for Republican leaders to provide transportation for migrants to land in left-wing communities.

Though when the Biden administration was transporting migrants to Florida and other locations, Democrats didn’t question it.

Republican officials have stated that once illegal immigration is handled, there won’t be a need to transfer migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, the Naval Observatory, or other locations currently managed by Democrats.

Despite recent events, there is still no indication that the Biden administration plans to take steps to crack down against illegal immigration. For this reason, left-wing communities and sanctuary cities can continue to expect more migrant arrivals.

Expecting border states to solely fend for themselves on this issue is simply not reasonable.
