Parkland Dad Defends Trump Against Filmmaker's Attacks

On New Year’s Day, Hollywood filmmaker Ron Howard thought it was a good idea to start 2020 by attacking the president of the United States.

In a tweet, Howard said President Trump is a “morally bankrupt ego maniac.” Ironic, coming from a Hollywood liberal.

Andrew Pollack, whose daughter, Meadow, was murdered in the Parkland, Florida school massacre, is having none of it though.

Pollack defended Trump by pointing out the president’s decision to forgo a salary, his sacrifices, and asked Howard, “What are you going to do when he wins again in 2020?”

Unsurprisingly, Howard has not responded to Pollack at this time.

The Parkland father has long been an advocate for Trump’s policies. Ever since his daughter was senselessly killed, he has also been an advocate for America’s children with his nonprofit Americans for Children’s Lives and School Safety (Class.) Pollack helped pass the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act in Florida. He also serves on Governor Ron DeSantis’ Transition Advisory Committee on Public Safety.

In other words, Pollack works tirelessly to make this country safer for everyone’s kids, just like Trump, while Howard sits behind a keyboard tweeting from his Hollywood mansion. Perhaps, Howard should reevaluate his choices and take a page from Mr. Pollack’s book.
